Hi, I’m Aditi.
I write, I draw, and I try to make sense of the noise.
This wasn’t a book I planned, not in any traditional sense. In fact, I’m not even sure I planned a book at all. It’s one of those rare things that catch you off guard and quietly stay with you. It found me when I stopped running, when I allowed myself a pause.
By day, I work in brand marketing, crafting narratives for some of India’s most loved consumer brands for the past eight years. But Lumi, Ember and the Flower of Serenity is something else. Something quieter. More personal. A story that emerged not from a brief or a brainstorm, but from stillness.
Written and illustrated entirely by me, this book is a pause, a gentle invitation to step away from the static and return to the questions we often bury under busy days. It's inspired by the in-between moments, where clarity arrives like a firefly brief, bright, and just enough.
This is not a self-help book.
It’s not quite a fable either.
It’s a story for adults who are done chasing perfection, but still leave the porch light on for magic.
And yes, I really did draw the owl myself.
In a forest that glows quietly under the watch of fireflies and old owls, two unlikely companions: Lumi, the restless spark, and Ember, the calm flame, set out on a journey not to save the world, but to understand it. And maybe, understand themselves.
This is not a loud story. It’s not built on battles or villains.
It’s built on the gentle flicker of self-discovery, the beauty of stillness, and the quiet courage it takes to pause when the world keeps rushing forward.
Who It’s For:
Whether its about the book, art, a book club, or just thoughts that came up while reading - I’d love to hear from you.
